Hello everybody, my name is Jacob. And I am a Protector. Ever since I was a kid, one of my biggest passions in life is to protect people, whatever form that took, I was game. And so sure enough, that led to me becoming a cop for four years. But after working in the police field long enough, I realized that this was a round about way of protecting, because often times, I wasn't there in time...

I wanted to do more. So that lead to my career change into what I do now. I train Washington State Schools on Emergency Safety. And I love my job, because it finally allows me to provide the most effective form of protection that I can, helping others to protect themselves, and making more protectors in this world.

And so one day, I thought, why stop at schools. When I can expand this safety circle to the rest of the society. People need to know how to Protect themselves and others. And sure enough, around the time I had this thought, I started getting approached by business, churches, and families who wanted to take control of their own safety. And so SHIELD was born. With one simple purpose: Protection.
